What a Semax offer means

Care & practical questions A guidebook chapter

Competing in sport? Check separately.

A medicine question and a sport-rule question need their own answers.

Semax sport facts: September 30, 2026. List dates: September 26, 2026.

An absent name is not permission

As of September 30, 2026, the World Anti-Doping Agency, or WADA, does not name Semax in its current or next published banned list.

WADA’s broad rule covers substances with no approval for human treatment from any government health authority, rather than looking only at US approval.

Russia has registered Semax, but the sources checked do not settle whether that registration puts it outside this sport rule.

Ask the organisation that enforces your sport’s rules for a dated, written answer about Semax.

Keep the list year in view

As checked September 26, 2026, WADA’s 2026 list stays in force until the end of that year.

Its published 2027 list takes effect on January 1, 2027.

The next list adds peptides as examples inside its existing rule for non-approved substances; this is not a specific decision about Semax.

A peptide consists of protein building blocks linked in a short chain. A broad category and an individual name can raise different questions.

Ask about your own competition rules

Give the anti-doping body the exact name and any proposed product details. Ask which rule applies now, whether it changes with the next list and where the written answer is recorded.

Bring the answer into the care discussion too. Ask how sport-rule checks would be handled before agreeing to a plan.

Do not treat the absence of a name in a search result as the end of the check.

Keep this in mind.

The September 2026 sources do not confirm that your sport allows Semax.
